Cirexx Installs Excellon Smart Drill

CIREXX INSTALLS EXCELLON SMART DRILL

Santa Clara, CA, June 29, 2015. Cirexx International announced today that they have acquired and installed an Excellon HS-2L Intelli-Drill. This equipment affords the user greater accuracy in CNC drilling location, depth and diameter. The addition is a part of Cirexx’s continuing commitment to producing the most advanced Printed Circuit Boards in as quick, reliable and cost-effective method as possible.

The HS-2L has two high speed 180K RPM spindles and can accommodate “large panel drilling – up to 28” X 32”. It also has high speed linear motors for table movement which interprets into a more efficient drilling process. Depth Control Drilling and Drill Diameter Verification are standard features. The CNC-7 Controller allows for networking to Cirexx’s highly automated CAM/Engineering process.

The key feature of the Intelli-Drill is the Auto-Focus, Auto-Zoom CCD Camera. The camera automatically aligns the table to etched targets and drills holes with amazing positional accuracy.
